International Workshop: New Perspectives on Averroes

In order to present and discuss new research on Averroes, a two-day workshop will be held at the Thomas-Institute at the 27th and 28th of September 2023. This workshop will reunite Averroes scholars from all over the world with the editors of the project who work on new critical editions, thus providing an important context for reflecting on the new results and the discoveries made in the context of the editorial work. The focus will be on the following areas of research: metaphysics, biology, and the transmission and reception of Averroes’ works.
